WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW before you take the ACEs Test… This is only the beginning. ACEs do NOT define you. Resiliency is what has gotten you this far! We suggest that after taking the ACEs test to IMMEDIATELY take the Resilience Test.
The ACES TEST
Take the ACES test online now. You receive one point for each type of trauma. The higher your ACE score, the higher your risk of health and social problems. There are, of course, other types of trauma. Only those indicated on the test are included for our purposes. With an ACE score of four or more, the likelihood of chronic issues increase.
Remember, your ACE score is not the only indicator for your future health. Everyone is encouraged to take their own health seriously. Please consult your physician or healthcare provider to discuss the ACEs link and to adjust your healing protocol as needed.
The Resiliency Test
A combination of factors contributes to resilience. Many studies show that the primary factor in resilience is having caring and supportive relationships within and outside the family. Relationships that create love and trust, provide role models and offer encouragement and reassurance help bolster a person’s resilience.
